Dave and I kept in touch long after Lawrenceville, and he was a good friend. His family would "take me in" on the shorter holidays as I lived too far away to go home, and we spent one of those holidays at his place on Lake Walenpupack (or Hawley). Dave and I saw Psycho in the town that night, and the walk home through the dark woods was scary.
Dave and I were both stamp collectors, and he worked for American Bank Note Company where he was right at home around fine printing.
He was a quiet gentle guy, and again, he was a good friend. I miss him.
